Winners
Bruce
I served in the Navy from 1972-1976.
John
John is my uncle, who is a Vietnam Veteran. He was a Marine Recon Sniper. I’m trying to get him to let me write a book about him, but I’m the only one he will talk to about his experiences. His stories are insane. He is having some health issues with his heart and back, so I think this book would cheer him up!
Arthur
“He has served his country since he graduated from H.S., with early enlistment and just retired from serving our USN for 30 years!! What an example of leadership, dedication to work, etc., he has been to hundreds of men and women over the years!”
Steve
“I just discovered you on X and am intrigued by your writing.”
Andrew
"My husband is an Army and National Guard Veteran and my hero. Military thrillers are his go to genre and he would love this book."
Patrick
“Patrick is my husband. He does not boast or promote himself...so I will :). He is 100% PT disabled Veteran. He was deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, (including Fallujah) and Kosovo. He was infantry, a ranger and designated marksman. His group A-CO.2/2 infantry is currently featured (in photographs) in the pentagon for their battle in Falljuah. One of his battle buddies received a Medal of Honor on behalf of their group's efforts.”
David
"I am the only remaining vet in the family. I love this country and am proud to have served."
Trevor
My husband served for 15 yrs flying off of carriers until his back went out and he was forced to get out. Books like this are what keeps him connected to job and the people he loved to serve with.
Scott
He served in the Coast Guard and tried to get back in but was told he was too old.
Nancy
I served for 4 years in the Air Force.
Mike
He was in the Military for four years. He was in right after Vietnam and was out before the wars in the Middle East.
Chuck
Chuck has retired from the Army, yet still volunteers his service, driving new recruits to and from their first posts. He also volunteers his time with the Enon Baptist Association, cleaning up the U.S. after natural disasters and catastrophes. He is an example of what an exemplary man with high moral standards is to the younger men around him!!
Ed
Ed retired just short of 23 years in the USAF. He served during Desert Storm and other conflicts with many months away from his family. A great husband, father and grandfather who is extremely proud of his time serving our country. He loves teaching and helping others with the knowledge he garnered during his time in service.
Donald
My father is the reason that I read voraciously. His love of books goes back to his five tours in Vietnam, time spent in Germany and Korea away from his family and then his second career as a long haul truck driver. Now in his seventies, he still reads 1-2 books a day, and I love introducing him to new authors!
Brian
My husband is an avid reader and loves thrillers. He is an Operation Iraqi Freedom Navy Veteran who returned home to become a public school teacher for the last 11 years. Brian is in the process of finishing writing his first novel and has dedicated his entire life to helping others through public service.
Ray
I'm a Vietnam Vet (served '67-'68) interested in Steve's work.
Aaron
I am a US Army Veteran. I served for 10 years and deployed both to Iraq and Afghanistan. I spent 6 years as a Cavalry Scout and 4 years as Psychological Operations. Currently live in CO with my family.
Terry
I am an active-duty Marine who loves political and military thrillers. Once I read a book I share it with my fellow Marines who also have a voracious appetite for books and booms.
Jeff
David
My husband loves thrillers and is always looking for another book. Being in Korea he has an abundance of hurry up and wait time and no access to my library.
